OUR RANCH

We’re fortunate to live in beautiful Central Oregon.

With the high desert climate, the sun shines over 300 days a year. The Cascade Mountains tower to the west
while the Oregon desert goes on eastward. This location is perfect for raising Gypsy horses.

When we were children, we both visited Central Oregon with our parents. We felt we could roam anywhere and
be safe. As adults, we wanted the same thing for our children and later returned to this area. Our ranch exudes a quietness that invades your soul.

When we first saw the property, it cast a certain spell over us. The mountain views are incredible! The ranch
backs up to over 33,000 acres of public land loaded with miles of trails that meander through rock bluffs and
down to the Deschutes River. It’s a beautiful place to live!

With a total of 64 acres split between two ranches two miles apart, our horses enjoy plenty of pasture year round. None of them are stuck with mud. While we keep the horse in small herds, we try to make sure each herd has plenty of room to roam.

Every horse also has access to a barn stall and/or a loafing shed but even if it’s snowing most choose to be out in the elements. There are a total of three barns with 13 stalls and an 80’ X 120’ indoor riding arena.

You can be assured, that when you purchase a horse from Elite Gypsy Horses, they will have had the very best
possible start in life.
