Dear Deb and Jeff,
Thank you so much for our most beautiful girl. You were so easy to work with and in particular working with us on the financial's. Princess arrived in excellent condition and was everything and more than you said she was. She has settled in very well with Sharavogue and Indie, and boys think she's something special and they're right!
You obviously look after and love your horses and it really shows. We enjoyed doing business with you and look forward to doing so again when the time is right.
We will keep in touch and send lots of photos, especially of the baby!!!

Wow, Words can not describe the way I feel right now.
Today was a long day, and a few phone calls to the truck driver to see where they were at but I tell you, when he rang and gave me the 10 minutes away phone call I almost cried, and the emotions just started flooding in. Six months of work and he's just down the road and we're about to meet him!!! Oh my gosh!!!!!
I must say you were right. He didn't disappoint. He is much better in the flesh and so handsome!!!!! He looks to be in wonderful condition and he has all his hair and just looks great. I had to walk him into his paddock a couple hundred meters and he was so nice. He didn't try to push me or pull and we just took his time so he could have a bit of a look around. Unfortunately it was right on dark, but he did so well.
He's already made best mates with our little Shetland pony and they are currently out grazing in the paddock happily.
I spoke with the groom in quarantine yesterday and chatted for 15 mins. She called him "tubby" and said she loved him. Such a sweet guy and no problems. She told me I would just fall in love with him (like everyone else who has ever met him). Well you only have to take one look and him and he is magnificent! I can't wait till the morning so I can go and play with him. Well take lot's of photo's and admire him. Thought we'd give him tomorrow to settle in and Friday morning I have the horse trainer coming over to do some work with him on the ground (more so he can see how he reacts rather than me. funny how you get a bit nervous when your six months pregnant and handling horses).
We'll your about to hear a lot more from me in the next day or two, and I'll make sure I call you on the weekend to chat.
Cheers,
Kel

Hi Deb,
Sorry to take so long in getting back with you.....busy time of year for me and we just moved into a new house.
Since arriving here in great condition (many thanks to Juan and his family), Sligo has fast become the
Shaman's Circle Ranch favorite! Not only a handsome lad, but a great personality and capability for riding and driving.
Vicky and Christy have ridden him in the arena as well as all around the valley.
I have ground driven him and will hook him up as soon as I finish the winter prep chores, hopefully today.
He is all that you said he would be....he certainly has exceeded my expectations.
A couple of imported Gypsy mares arrived last Friday and Sligo was very happy to see some
of his own kind....not just the black Friesians. He talked to Panda and the Tyson mare all day,
prancing up and down his pasture so that he could see and be seen!
I think that he is looking forward to Spring for more intimate encounters.
Thanks again for sharing Sligo with us.
I am glad that your son is doing so well. That type of extensive surgery takes a lot of energy to heal.
Sounds like he got excellent care.
Best wishes,
Steve

This is my first post here so hopefully I do it right! My name is Jen and I am Commander/Aidan's new mom.
It is true, I am COMPLETELY in love with this colt!!!
He is everything I could have hoped for and more. Deb and Jeff were wonderful to work with.
I first saw Commander's newborn pics and was totally smitten with him. I just thought he was the cutest thing in the world.
I wasn't seriously looking for another horse though so I just sort of put him in the back of my mind.
I couldn't get him out of my head though and after a couple months I went back and saw the updated pics of him.
That cute little colt was turning into quite the hunk. I couldn't take it any longer and had to email Deb and Jeff for more info.
I knew my husband wasn't really ready for me to get another horse so I armed myself with all
the details I could get and went to talk to him about it. He wasn't thrilled at first but I have
to say that after seeing pictures of Commander he softened quite a bit. We discussed it
and ultimately he gave me the go ahead to buy him. I can't tell you how thrilled I was to make that phone call
to Deb to tell her we wanted to make Commander a part of our family. The day I picked him up was great.
Deb and Jeff have an incredible place and I was in awe over all their beautiful horses.
I can't believe that I have had Commander/Aidan for a month now. Time is flying by and
I just adore him more every day. I can't thank Deb and Jeff enough for allowing me to have him.
Now if only I could have convinced my husband to buy more than one. I would have had to take that little
Amelia home with me too. That girl is too cute! Seriously though, Deb and Jeff don't be surprised
if I contact you again someday wanting a Pride filly. I think a Pride filly with Aidan would be awesome!
Oh and in case you are wondering my uncertain husband also completely adores Aidan :-)
Deb,
You guys certainly deserve all the praise. You have done an incredible job with your ranch and horses.
I have been involved with training, breeding, showing horses since I was a kid and I have to
say that yours is one of the nicest operations I have seen. You were so easy to work with and
the foals you are producing are simply spectacular. You should be very proud of what you do.
Now if I could just convince my husband that we need little Amelia!

Hello Deb and Jeff,
I just thought I'd drop you a line and tell you that Athena is doing well.
She seems to have settled in like she is home, calm, loves her treats, and
goes out with my other horses all day and back to her cozy stall at night.
She loves the hay that they bale on the farm!
I can really tell that you have handled her well, which is wonderful to
work with. She is happy to be groomed, moves off of light hand pressure,
leads well, ties, and generally is a very good equine citizen. Thank you!

Hi Debra,
I just really wanted to let you know how excited and in love we are with our new Gypsy family!
I really cannot tell you enough how happy they have, not only made me, but also my family.
Dave has never wanted to be a part of my love for horses, even when the kids were little and really
involved with it.
Now, you cannot pry him away from them! He has never been so hands on and I really see his
attitude change and his stress level go down. he tells everyone he meets in town about our new venture,
and carries all the bragging rights. i have one question about ginger, i know that she was broke to drive,
but i can't remember if she was broke to ride with a saddle. Wonder if you knew that.
The other day i decided to put a saddle on duke to get him used to something on his back.
i rubbed him down with the saddle blanket and then put it on his back and he just turned his head back
at me asking me what i was doing. then i put on the saddle and he looked back again, like i was just crazy.
so then i sent him around in the round pen and he started to walk around and then he
finally decided that he should do something about this thing on his back.
i saw his daddy in him, i never saw a horse come off the ground like he did.
he went straight up, i now know how his daddy jumped a 6 foot high fence, i saw Sligo in him.
He bucked a few more times and then he thought that he wasn't going to
get that saddle off, and he just started to trot around showing my other horses that he was a big boy also.
he felt pretty proud of himself... the sligo in him.
i also need to see how we register ginger filly, are their form we need to get, or send for, if you could help us
with this, we would be most thankful. we still haven't given the filly a final name,
oh well it took us a month to name 2 of our kids, so i guess it is ok to take that long to name our other new baby.
Thank you so much for sharing your love of this new breed of gentle giants. As Dave calls them his labrador horses.
we have so much enjoyed meeting you guys and your family, and hope to get up to Oregon and see you again...
Mirian and Dave
Their beautiful horses are Ginger on the left and Duke on the right...
